Posts like this just baffle me. People complain about bugs, so they work on fix bugs and release patches (including fixing the game so that it runs for people with CPUs BELOW the minimum requirements). Then people complain about no OEM bike DLC for the PC, even though it's out on consoles. Now that the DLC is out, people are pissing and moaning about how it's out before all other bugs have been fixed.
The OP literally provided no good information to go on as far as what issues they were facing. For all we know it is user error (I don't actually think it is though).
If you want the devs to fix the bugs you are having, you need to provide them with details. Fill out a big report. Just saying "x doesn't work" does nothing. They have actually been doing a good job at steadily releasing patches and hotfixes based on user feedback.
Maybe you should realize this is a rant by a disgruntled customer instead of a complaint expecting a solution. There have been plenty of worthy bug reports and only so many solutions offered. Truth is, the game should have never been released in the condition it was in and after multiple patches it has gotten worse for some people. In typical fashion, the company has not slowed down from their DLC release schedule in order to fix the glaring issues that are causing the game to be unplayable to some which is simply unexcusable. Rainbow somehow believes they have a large number of satisfied customers with this release. It's going to take posts such as this for them to wake up and realize they can't keep releasing trash and expecting us to dig deep into our pockets. The large number of complaints here and a 2.5 star rating on Xbox Live should tell them something, but it doesn't seem to be doing much.
I agree... this is not the Rainbow Studio of the past. Nordic Games have simply tried to ride the past on these games. All they had to do was re=release REFLEX with new tracks and updates w/o touching the bike physics... and they'd have a winner.
Instead they screwed there user base and for the first time I returned the game w/o even opening based on review and it was preordered months in advance.
Encore was theire last chance with me and my son (Kip's Kreations) I help Rainbo beta test MCM2... that's how long I've supported them.
So sad these guys wasted this opportunity.
The bad thing is that it seems the gamedevelopement overall has gone to the wrong direction.
It´s all about microtransactions, premium stuff and other stuff nobody asked for. I guess that´s what happens when it´s all about how to get the most amount of money out of one player in the shortest time possible..
It´s really a shame what happened to game developement in the past 10 years.
And if you try to support kickstarter games or early access titles you find yourself often enough supporting games that never get finished.
You can see greedy moneygrabbing in every genre. I guess somebody started it and now its a vicious circle^^
At least there are a few good devs left, I still like to support. This here is not one of them anymore tbh. The single bike DLCs were/ are a bad joke at the worst time.
Yeah but pc kids were already crying for them because the consoles already had it, so what to do? I don´t want to be dev these days :D Game Industry is pretty fu***d up at it´s current state
