I completely agree that these physics are way worse, the bike in mid air slows down. Go hit a triple and you will notice the bike slows down and almost drops. The whoops the bike bounces all over the place like bike is on springs.
Is there a way to get the physics back because the game now seems almost unplayable.
(UPDATE) After reading about tuning the physics, that made a world of difference and I am very pleased with this new patch, a recommendation I have is now its a little too easy to crash even casing small jumps, so a little more work on that would be good!
I did see on the facebook profile that you can tune you the bike and it does make a difference, I was able to get the physics back to how they were, good job on the update, I am very happy with it now that I know to tune the bike to get the right physics! There is only one thing i would recommend changing, and it seems like even on small jumps its really easy to crash.
So I load up steam, it updates the game and launches the game right after. How am I suppose to know that tuning the bike now changes the in-air physics, by osmosis? Maybe if there was a disclaimer right when launching the game to tell you such might help right? A bit quick to deal out judgment...
I actually like the old physics as well, but what I very much appreciate is the developers of the game gave us the option to customize the physics to our own liking, and not alienating people with one set physics type. The more customizable options you have in a game, the better the game experience.
