Xrd not AS populated as Strive is (or at least that's the case from my limited experience of two days), but it's also the older game. If you look in the right places, you'll find people to play. I'm in a Discord srver mostly unrelated to GG, I randomly mentioned I play Strive, found a guy who plays Strive and Xrd and I played him yesterday when I bought it. Similar goes for other older fighting games, probably a similar story for Accent Core +R even.

According to SteamCharts the typical playerbase is around 30...
You can find matches and around the clock there will be at least a hand full of people online, but since this game is older it's mainly filled with quite experienced players who will not hesitate to go 30-0 on your ass.

Yes there are still many people that play here, including me, but not as many as those who play Strive. You'll find almost everyone in player rooms rather than in ranked matches. Additionally, most people are nice and inviting.
