New Player that sucks at the game please help
Thanks to whoever read this and hello! XRD rev 2 was my first game a few years before Strive was announced and I was quick to drop the game because it felt clunky and unintuitive at first. Now that Strive’s netcode is a mess and I've dipped my hands in a load of other fighting games, coming back this game doesn’t feel so bad but still feels a little tight in comparison to Strive or other arc sys games.

For THREE hours now I’ve been trying to perform this combo with sol:

https://youtu.be/8TL0NvgN5DY (Pretend the Tyrant Rave landed please)

(At Wall) Starter > 6P > Delay 5H > J.K > J.D > Break > 6P > Dragon Install > Tyrant Rave > 66 Dust > J.K > J.D > Break > Tyrant Rave

Here are the issues I run into:

-Break does not consistently do both hits
-6P does not come out at a consistent timing
-The first tyrant rave only connects when the opponent bounces in a certain way, usually if the 6P > Dragon Install input is damn near frame perfect
-After the second break in dragon install, the tyrant rave input becomes 6H when I know DI lets you double super

I know this combo is un-optimal as hell and isn't even true after the J.D > Break after Dust but it’s driving me insane cause I can easily do:

6P > 5H > J.K > J.D > Break > 6P > 6H > Gunflame.
6P > 5H > J.K > J.D > Break > 6P > Tyrant Rave

I guess my main questions are:
-How tight are input windows in combos overall?
-Are there better ways aside from 6P > DI to combo into DI
-Is this combo even feasible because if not I'm gonna quit trying lmao
-Is it possible to do 6P > 5H > J.K > J.D > Break > 6P > Gunflame > and combo off the second gunflame?
-General combo and input timing advice (if that makes sense)

Again, thanks to whoever reads this and sorry if this is a really stupid and annoying question!

Not a Sol player but I landed the combo into the double super. Not sure how you get enough to do another tyrant rave after the dust sequence.

-Break does not consistently do both hits
You need to hit break far enough away from the corner so the landing hit (the flames) don't spawn too far off screen.

-6P does not come out at a consistent timing
idk what you mean by this.

-The first tyrant rave only connects when the opponent bounces in a certain way, usually if the 6P > Dragon Install input is damn near frame perfect
The timing between both supers is very small. You can buffer tyrant during the DI startup animation so it comes out immediately after it's over. I think this might be the main problem based off the video.

-After the second break in dragon install, the tyrant rave input becomes 6H when I know DI lets you double super
You don't have enough meter to do another.

Ok thanks! I forgot meter was a thing in DI.

As for this either it does not come or, or it inconsistently hits as true or not true. My main thing is that either he'll stand there or do it

Ah yeah that's just a timing thing. Since break is a special you have to wait for it to completely end to input 6P. The game doesn't really have much of a buffer window after specials.
