I don't know how you managed to make strive's lobbies look good in comparison but you somehow managed it.

The player match rooms are where it's at.

There must be a lot of new players who aren't aware, or the server / room list delivery is bugged, because I never find any rooms when I search. The regular delay based version with far less people before would always have some open rooms going to choose from.

I will never understand how can people have a problem with Xrd's lobby system. You choose a lobby from a list, you run around as your customizable avatar, you can emote and chat with others, sit next to an arcade and play. It's simple, fun and works well. In fact, it's so good Capcom decided to copy the system and put it in Street Fighter 6. Strive's lobbies are garbage in comparison.

cabs on world lobbies never work and kick you out of the match after 1 game.
Player lobbies seem to be bugged as in there are never any player lobbies avaible to chose from even at peak hours (are they region specific? cause i can't think of any other reason)

Strive atleast lets to mash on a cab to eventually get a match. the issue with strive largely comes from it's lack of matchmaking, which compared to xrd even with the feature in xrd the matchmaking doesn't work and it's rare to find a match.

This isn't an issue with playerbase anymore since rollback has attracted a large amount of players so obviously there should be players using these features, but they aren't(?) because the features themselves are broken just like in every other arcsys game.

world lobbies gonna get old quick for the fact there's no matchmaking or 'floors' at least to separate/allow people to tell levels apart from others so it's not just a random smashfest or you getting stomped out.

I don't see how the cab kicking you out after 1 game is a problem. If you want a rematch just sit back again. And I don't understand what you mean by "cabs on world lobbies never work" and "there are never any player lobbies available". I've yet to see the cab NOT working. People upload vids on steam of them playing in full lobbies just fine.

I don't think we're playing the same game. I've only ever seen people complaining about the cabinets in lobbies that i've been too.
Maybe you're not using the beta branch? thats the one with rollback.

Yeah, I scrolled through some discussions and people get the "failed to initialize the match" message when trying to fight in lobbies. Maybe it has to do with going to e.g. tokyo server while living in south america or something. I don't know.
