No Controller or Fightstick Works

Only keyboard is ever detected. I tried all sorts of Big Picture settings, tried enabling and disabling the Steam controller inputs, tried with DS5, 8bitdo SN30, Switch Pro, and 8bitdo Fightstick. Nothing is working besides keyboard. I even tried unplugging my keyboard. I'm running out of ideas and was wondering after all this time if anyone has any working solutions.

If your PC is not detecting any controller or fightstick... it's your PC. Game runs on 360/XB1 controllers, PS3 and 360 fightsticks as well as my Qanba stick for the PS4.

Check your Device Manager, see if the ports are showing a controller hooked up, if so then reverify the install folder for the game.

So I found a software called XOutput that dupes my DS5 into an Xbox controller. It only works with that. My fightstick only has Switch and Xinput support and for some reason will not be picked up by XOutput. So it looks like this game only supports Xbox and DS3/4. Really dumb it won't get updated with the rest.

Does anyone know any software that can dupe a Switch/Windows Fightstick into an Xbox or DS3/4 compatible one?

soory to necro this but im trying to play this with a PS4 controller and it does ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Strive works fine as do most other games, it's just XRD that's being a stubborn ♥♥♥♥♥.
