Report a translation problem
I don't know if it's included in the free trial (it better be though), but make sure you have downloaded the Rev2 DLC and have activated it in the in-game options.
Rev2 is not present in the free trial, which is why there is nobody online, but a few "lost souls" who probably also got the game through the free trial. They are from all around the world so the connection between us would be close to horrible.
I'm not gonna lie, I still have doubts when it comes to online activity, but the game is just too good and the sale probably to rare to let the occasion go.
Bottom line, most of the modes are barren but making a lobby or seeking players out on Discord servers can get you matches easily.
