Baiken Tips and Tricks
Hello I just recently picked this game up as its my first GG game ever and I'm starting off with Baiken is there any bread and butter combos someone could recommend? I've reached to Advanced04 with her in the Dojo but im lost of how much of the dojo I should use in a match. Any help would be appreciated!

c.K > S > c.D > tatami (236K) is BnB

and from there you can chain into an air combo

you mean 2K > c.S > 2D > tatami (236K).

Usual notations denote c. as 'close'. As in, c.S (close S) and f.S (far S). Also don't stop there, after tatami convert into j.S > j.D, always.

I'd really recommend joining the Baiken discord. Apart from having people to help you with, they also compile useful resources on there.

And as your first GG, do be patient before getting results, especially w/ Baiken. Although her skill ceiling isn't that high, her skill floor on the other hand is on the higher end.

As for other BnBs,

1) 2K > c.S > 2D > tatami (236K) > j.S > j.D is for when she is within 2K range.

2) With more spacing, do 5K > f.S > 5H > instant rokkonsogi (63214KH).

3) On corner, you can either start with 2K > c.S > 2D > tatami (236K) > j.S > j.D or throw and then converting to j.S > j.D > air dash > j.S > j.D > 5H > instant kuchinashi (63214KP)

No. 3 requires changes depending on character weight & hurtbox. Heavier characters usually require an additional j.K or j.P before the airdash j.S. Also note that No. 3 (or her corner combos in general) is very flexible & you can mix, match & extend the combo to suit your needs. For example, you can choose to extend the dustloop portion of it into 4x rep instead of just 2x for more damage, even though it'll land you farther than the knocked down opponent.

It's also worth noting that she's one of those characters where you need to learn more than just those 3 BnBs to do well with her even at lower levels. Like her character design, she is kinda handicapped & you'd have to make full use of every opportunity you can get. The general idea is to do frametraps & fish for counterhits; which hurts like hell from her.

One example of a simple & viable counterhit combo is CH. (counterhit) Rokkonsogi > S kabari > tetsuzansen > 6H > 2D > j.S > j.D. In the corner, you can convert this into her dustloop too.
