PETITION: YRC and Danger Time
Ok now that rev is on pc, can you please remove yrc slowdown and danger time? =)

Remove player 2, change camera view to 3rd person, give player a gun and make it open-world with cars, spaceships and dungeons

Also voxel world geometry and make it be on java, yeah, if possible. But not first priority, maybe in further updates.

What's wrong with YRC and Danger Time?

YRC is probably the best thing to happen to Guilty Gear outside of Xrd's artstyle changes.

Well for you to understand im not actually expecting them to remove yrc slowdown and danger time in revelator, im just expressing myself saying that this game would be a lot better like it was in previous versions, with no danger time and overpowered 25% tension cost yrc slowdown at anytime in neutral

Not a fan of danger time myself but i think YRC is a great mechanic and is fundamental in how some characters work (I main Leo)

only thing that annoys me is the slowdown, not the cancel itself, also the fact that it eats inputs

Wicked, if you are not trolling but are saying this seriously, yellow roman cancel is the weakest RC in the game, it's also the cheapest, and it's ability to slow opponent down for 18 frames gives you a great advantage if enemy is going for okizeme attacks on you. It helps you to make fake pressing/zoning, trick opponent and instantly cancel unsafe actions into block or something unpredictable. It is important that it slows the opponent down - that's the point. But it has its costs - 1/4 tension and temporary tension gauge freeze. If you don't like it, you may not want to use it, but in GGXrd you will need to get along with other players who use it's advantages to escape from pressing and setting up unpredictable attacks. It's a part of the game, and people accepted it as part of the game. So, ничего не попишешь.

The slowdown allows you to create combos that are otherwise impossible, so it should stay as it is.

Danger time can go to hell for all I care though. It's just cheap hype bait that introduces RNG to a fighting game. RNG is more often than not a bad thing for the genre.

The slowdown prevents unfair sudden mixups, the most common example being 5D YRC 2D or aerial move YRC landing into throw/low. The answer to that would be "then make YRC limited to certain moves only" which would limit the freedom of players and regressing things back yo FRC era. Like it or not, the RC slowdowns is the thing that defines Xrd series so if you don't like it, feel free to play AC+R

And like Cresote said, YRC has it's downsides. In almost every case outside of projectile YRCs, you get much better rewards by doing the correct thing at correct time without relying on meter (reacting with antiairs properly, doing normal mixups, not whiffing moves in footsies).

Only for you, Rev is Hell of a Good game, just as is it, changing something from it, and it'll not be a Guilty Gear game.
