Because there isn't, I suppose you've haven't heard back then that Revelator wasn't gonna have English audio. (Though I wonder if its possible to put in the English audio files from PC Sign to Revelator if there's some way, doubtfully. Mostly just for Battle vocals, but that'll be too much work, I presume.)

I feel you bro.
That's why I'm not buying it right now. Maybe sometime later... maybe.

The dub for SIGN sucked anyway

Arksys and Aksys are lazy with voice dubbing it seems.

This is not really a surprise, seeing how the PS3 & 4 version doesn't have english dub in it, and because this is actually very old news. While I do like some of the characters' english voices, it still wouldn't deter me from buying this game on day 1.
English dub or not, the gameplay and the overall FG experience is what I'm looking for.

Except it didnt, unless sound in general offends you.

the only good dub voices in SIGN were Elphelt,Ky,Bedman,Johnny(story),and Axl.
Everyone else wasn't even worth hearing

Aksys Games doesn't localize the BlazBlue or Guilty Gear games anymore, and also aren't involved in any of the PC ports. They only publish them on console in North America. The last ASW fighting game that Aksys localized was BlazBlue: Continuum Shift; ASW did the localizations for BBCP, GGXrdS, GGXrdR, and BBCF internally.

They didn't dub Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator or BlazBlue: Central Fiction. I don't think they've ever come out and stated a reason officially, but it can be assumed that ASW wasn't willing to spend the time and money on a dub given the generally low sales the two previous games had in the West. Same reason why they didn't translate the Library in their original release of BBCP.

Aksys would probably dub the games if they were still handling localization, since they always went above and beyond. From what I understand, they went out of their way to translate the library and database for BBCPE and GGXrdS because they wanted to make sure those were included even if ASW wasn't willing to do them internally.

I had to remind myself what Xrd sounded like in English, so I booted it up, picked Sol and Ky. I did GANFRAME and RIDEAVONRIGHTNING... and yeah, crap compared to Japanese.

The main problem, I dont speak Japanese.
Lots of unique dialog is thrown around in matches in ASW games.

It neuters the atmoshere and overally experience for me if i'm basically having to put up with only 60% of the game being translated in text.

Or it's expensive for how many people care.

You've probably never heard the English voices in DOA5LR. Good god, are they terrible, especially Leifang. Honestly, I'm glad they retained the original Japanese voices this time. It's much better than hearing ear-bleedingly awful English voice acting. :steamhappy:
