Can't find nor join player lobbies
My friend and I recently got GG rev 2 and both of us wanted to try out online battle. Apparently, I couldn't join his lobby nor could he join the lobby I created. We'd get a connection error notice. We also tried the online lobbies and couldn't get a match against him. It gets stuck at connecting and eventually becomes an error. We could chat and go fishing here and there but we couldn't have a battle against each other

Maybe something in either your router settings or firewall settings.

My firewall has always been turned off. Haven't checked my router settings though

I'll try to enable DMZ in awhile and I can't join other people's lobbies because I couldn't reach the minimum connection required. Searching for lobbies is also one of my biggest problems since I can barely find one

Try dealing with your isp to get a public ip. That works for me. Your friend might need it too.

Yep, used to can't connect to anyone, or only w/ very few people sometimes. btw this solution has been posted around since SIGN's days. Sometimes by chance my ISP switched me out of my public ip and I can't connect to anyone again. Once I requested a public ip from them again though, everything's good as mint again.

Not sure if it works for everyone, but it is one of the things that deter you from being connected with the others. Worth a try especially if you can request it for free from your ISP. I heard some other ISPs charge for that though.
