Guilty Gear Xrd: REV 2 is going to be hitting Steam on June 1st, 2017!



For Guilty Gear fans that already own Guilty Gear Xrd: -REVELATOR-, REV 2 will be a digital upgrade at a reduced cost for both the base and the deluxe versions. For new fans, they will have the choice between the base Guilty Gear Xrd: REV 2 option, as well as the deluxe version.


So with all of these options, how does it actually work, price wise? Well, allow us to break it down for you!

I hope theres a lot of players on south america, a little change its good and is an option for tekken (dont like it pretty much). So, 45 bucks for game+dlc+rev2 right?

I think $45 will be the option for the base game and all the characters (Dizzy, Kum Haehyun, Raven from Revelator DLC; Baiken and Answer from Rev2) without all the fluff like DLC colors, and character system voices.

The $45 one is the one I'm getting... Not interested in the colours and system voices..

What I love though is that at $60 you have the complete game.. All DLC characters, all extra DLC... Most games at this price still have a "season pass" waiting for you to buy..
And let's not even talk about SFV...

So, i can't believe the "upgrade" cost a bit less than the original game, only for 2 new characters ??? Because i don't fully understand what's new on this upgrade, a little bit more of History and episode mode?? a few changes that means my characters will lose movements like they did in Soul Calibur 4 & 5 with Mitsurugi and Nightmare? Or simply Baiken and anwser?

- Two new characters, Baiken and Answer enter the battle! New stages and moves are just the beginning of new content to explore.
- Expanded story and arcade modes shed new light on your favorite fighters.
- A complete rebalancing of each fighter means that everything old is new again! Explore different fighting techniques with your favorite characters or start fresh with new brawlers.
- Upgrades, lots of Upgrades.

I'll say its a step in the right direction in terms of pricing, but I'm still incredibly disappointed that those who bought Rev AND Sign don't get a discount. Food for thought on your end.
