Onething to worry about if you buy a US or whichever version - its DLC will be Region Locked. Meaning if Rev3 DLC arrives for instance it will require buying US version specifically. .. which can be VERY problematic for those outside the US. (For example). In that regard -STEAM has the upper hand.
am I heart heart heart? thanks for the luv bra
Also guys - I am still interested in hearing answers about what I asked above. What kind of a controller is commonly used by PC players of GG ? (keyboard, DS4, stick, DS3, XB1 etc..)?
What do you guys think of Logitech Orion G610 Red / Brown switch for fighter games and GG specficially?
Does the PC version have more players in the EU than consoles?
Anyways, the way I see it, there are two kinds of people in this world - the ones who like digimon and then those that dont.
The connection seems pretty consistent on both the systems, it's very hard to pinpoint where people are because in the EU we all (or all used to) go to the French lobbies. Not exactly the EU but for reference from Wales to Russia I have a delay of 4 frames.
I use and prefer a stick myself, but have used a DS4 controller here and there.
Also I've seen people who have incredible execution with a keyboard, so play what feels comfortable to you.
I know a bunch of people who use all three but if I made a guesstimate it'd be Controller > Stick > Keyboard
Someone argued the otherday that it does but from what I can see the EU has way more player on the PS4.
That's not to say the lobbies are dead for the PC EU, yesterday there was 3 almost full rooms and full rooms don't appear for some reason which may give an illusion. - If you got the PC version you'll find rooms(or make your own which will allow it to fill up quickly). - The only times I've had a hard time finding games is around 4AM give or take.
Edit: some cleanup
Also to add to this, the PC version has lower input lag and you're able to lower it even more through various settings.

mmmh.... Arcade Stick.
One compatible with PC and PS4, so if you wanna play on PS4 you can.
There are really cheap one, which you can change Stick and buttons to feel better.
It's all about habits. You can be the best one with using a potato.
I feel better with Arcade stick.
Because
1) Fully customizable. You can change everything.
2) Best consistency. It's all about habits but I see (IMHO) I've a way better control of the character, and I can do the same thing other and other again.
3) One hand on movements, one on buttons. (same for keyboards)
I have boxes of sticks, controllers, HOTAS sets, and other stuff I've tried over the years.
