Should I buy ggxrd rev2 even though I don't have friends to play with?

I just got the "failed to complete download" message, which won't allow for online play. I read in some old threads that it was a server side issue from a dev itself. I was wondering if they were aware of this or if there's something I can do on my end. Did anybody else get this message? Edit: I put it on drive E instead of C, and it worked until I turned my PC off and on again, and now it's not working anymore. Why would that be the case? I cleared Steam cache as well, but that didn't help....

So, I recently played this game at a martial arts tournament the other day and fell completely in love with it. So I bought it and went to play it. Immediately had issues. First I had steamapi_init() failed and I somehow managed to fix that and then I had error:740 which no longer appear but the game is now in a constant state of looping bootggxrd into launching game with custom arguments and so on and so forth. Anyone got any idea or how to fix this because I've looked up so much stuff that I'm at my ...
