One of the worst shooters I've ever played.

Let's start with the menus. Graphics settings are minimal, just a pick your quality and resolution drop downs with no customization. Graphics also can only be adjusted from the main menu, not in-game. Inputs cannot be rebound and nowhere in the game are all controls displayed (did you know you can change your armor with the U key?)

Gunplay mechanics are minimal. Aim, shoot, reload. Can hold two guns which encourages you to swap weapons at chests to maintain ammo. There is a lean left/right and crouch slide but neither provide anything as the enemy pathing is akin to a Source engine mod. Reload animations are nonsensical and ammo types do not match the guns themselves. Weapon swapping animations are too slow for the type of game this is trying to be. Hit indicators are inconsistent. Sometimes they will flash white and other times red. Red obviously is trying to represent the enemy dying alongside an very quiet audio queue but sometimes the hot indicator will flash red on a regular hit leading to confusion on if the enemies are dead. Movement speed for the player is also painfully slow with how large the map is.

On the map design, it's like if EYE Divine Cybermancy was fed into an AI. It's large, empty, with repeating nonsense everywhere. The slow character movement speed makes these maps painfully boring to traverse. The geometry itself in some areas is extremely blocky resulting in awkward navigation that isn't a challenge but just an annoyance.

This is supposed to be a roguelite but runs are consistently the same. The only variance is a slight chance in enemy spawn patterns during "events" which have consistent spawn locations and chest loot. The chests spawn on death of the last enemy wherever you are standing which is just awkward. You'd expect it to spawn maybe within the viewport of the camera where the player can receive a clear visual indicator of loot. Guns have no forms of modifiers nor are there any abilities to unlock during the run to supplement gameplay into different builds. The only meta-progression is resetting the map to level up max HP and Stamina.

Enemy designs are all over the place including some assets from other games (hello Dark Souls black Knight). The hurtbox of the enemies do not match their models causing many shots that should hit to just miss instead and vice versa. The "gore" is a simply wet red shader, no giblets or additional models during "dismemberment". There is minimal sound design here as well. Most enemy movement and attacks are completely silent. Some lack attack animations as well so your only indicator of will you be attacked is your healthbar dropping in value. Death animations are absent for many enemies. Enemy bodies can block shots and with the inaccurate collision boxes that means shooting above a body to hit something behind them will result in wasted ammo.

Shrink the maps or increase the player speed, ammo count, movement mechanics (allow side step and Dash forward based on directional input instead of dodge back only). Enemy count should be increased as well to keep the player moving in more than a straight line.

There's more I could come up with but I'm only still here and didn't request a refund because I'm dedicated now to see if the other content I came for is worth the stay. Not seen a single h scene yet.

Way better than first one animations are nice lots of blood plenty of gore what more do you need?
