Report a translation problem
The game isn't a sci-fi or something but each weapon have it's damage.normally a shotgun have to kill someone in less than 100m (at least ) with one Shot (or at least two for a game) but this game just made shotgun one of the most useless weapons i ever seen in any game.
I shot a NPC 5 times in the body with a shotgun from less than 10-15 m away to kill ! (and throws a grenade after the fourth shot as well)
I never was seen something like this.in other games for example Rising storm 2 as well you can kill someone with one shot with a shotgun from 100-150 m away !
Bullet is bullet it shouldn't have to be any difference between a AKM shot and SVD.when it hit somewhere on a person body it have to do same damage.the only difference have to be accuracy to make some guns better at a distance.
But in this game it seems that each gun have it's damage from it's price and they just have name from their own real models and nothing else..it's one of the reasons that FPS mode will not going to work with this game as well.
Agree about all you said and i'm not comparing this game with a simulator and it shoun't even have to be like that if no body can even step out of the base.i just say if a shotgun normally works like that this game at least have to do half of it's job.
It shouldn't have to be a gun in this game or at least it have to be a use for it.for now i didn't really found any use for a shotgun in this game !...it can't even kill an animal..or a pistol which can't even easily kill a naked guy.
GTA is 3rd person game as well (without bullet drop) but each weapon have it's own use in that game as well.or Dayz or escape from tarkov which both are survival as well.
In all those game if a bullet hit an enemy it will do a damage.any of those games don't really give a person a big point because of his weapons ! and someone with a pistol can easily kill an enemy even if he have M4 or AK with any kind of armor.
But just imagine a fight between two person one with M4 another one with pistol/shotgun in this game..there is almost zero chance to win for the guy with shotgun/pistol.
This things like giving the chance to win to everyone with any kind of items can make a game skill based.for now this game seems like a item based game more than a skill based game !
Mostly cartoonish looking games (and cash grab f2p games) putting this much difference between weapons and i can't remember any game that being like this.
The game is great itself but it can be better and this stuffs seems like a basic part of a game that developers mostly don't even try to change them..
ie. a PM will not deal as much damage as a 1911. the pm fires 9mm while the 1911 fires ".45". that's why you can't reload a 1911 with the regualr Box ammo, cause the only ".45" ammo available is in the "1911 Magazine" in the shop or when it spawns.
