Untrusted system file: steamclient64.dll
When I try to launch the game, I get this error and the game fails to open.

I have tried verifying the cache, uninstalling/ re-installing the game and steam. Nothing has fixed this problem.

I don't know if this is due to the 'ban wave' but I haven't been on in weeks (regardless, I don't cheat).

Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone have any solutions?

try this.

replacing the xaudio2_7.dll file on your system. downloaded xaudio2_7.dll from originaldll.com.

Sounds like a typical issue coming from EAC..

Also run a check on your system with anti-virus, and disable it see if its blocking it,.

I don't play this game, but I do work with Steam and development, so something else you can try is look for its anti-cheat, and run the .exe that sometimes helps. may be corrupted.

I don't work for this game . just in general to be clear.

I just tried this, and problem was not fixed.
EAC is my suspicion as well, but they have not responded to my emails.
Thank you for your suggestion!

do you open the program from the steam app or from the desktop shortcut? only asking cause the first time i started it up through my shortcut, it didn't update anything like DirectX or other steam files. but when i opened it through steam it started the updates. idk if it was just a coincidence.

I'm having the same issue with Ghost Recon Wildlands. I just upgraded to an SSD so that might have something to do with it but only seems to be a problem with that particular game. It fails to launch and says, as the OP states "Untrusted system file (E:\Steam\steamclient64.dll)" Have tried all of the various posted EAC fixes but nothing has worked thus far. I'm using Windows 7 64 bit.

The problem is 100% EAC error. They mislabel malicious content then block your games from you.

Don't even bother with their troubleshooting steps, they are completely ineffective. All you can do is wait for them to catch their error; then silently remove the flag from your account.

For a month I couldn't play EAC games, then suddenly (without change) I can play again.
