Planet Coaster: Thrillseeker edition. DLC or Full Game?

So, I'm really excited about Planet Coaster and I want to make sure I'll play it as soon as possible. On the real website of PC, the "Thrillseeker Edition" says it includes the Base Game of PC, plus some extra goodies. On Steam, it says the "TE" is a DLC and it requires the Base Game. Who to trust? What to do? Thanks! :)

I think if you buy it on the Frontier website, it'll just give you the code when the betas become playable, and you can redeem it on Steam in order to play the game. Even then, the same thing happens when you buy it on here. Either way doesn't matter, although I think Frontier gets more money if you buy from them directly.

The Thrilseeker edition is not DLC. It's a deluxe edition with the full game, a few extra goodies and beta access when it arrives in early November. It's just poor wording on steam. If you want the deluxe edition, buy the Thrillseeker. If you don't care about any extra goodies, or beta, then get the normal edition.

Personally, I'd get the Thrillseeker. It's only a difference of 5 usd, and you get to play a few weeks early, but it's your choice. Cheeyev is correct, you'll get a steam key if you buy it on the planet coaster website. I would just buy it on Steam though, makes things easier.

steam says it is a dlc because it registers in your steam account as a dlc.
i think they did it that way if you wanna upgrade later when the game is out to the thrillseeker you can do that. some examples are the deluxe editions from Cities Skylines and RollerCoaster Tycoon World.
it doesn't matter if you buy it on the frontier store or steam it will be in your dlc list, but it isn't yet purchasable for people that wanna upgrade from the standard edition to the thrillseeker edition.
(alpha players will get thrillseeker edition automaticly when the game comes out, they don't need to activate another steam key.)

Who else is having trouble downloading planet coaster
My install button won't show up and it says can't install on current plant form even though I have windows 7 and all the require ments who knows the answer to this

The most likely cause is your Windows 7 installation is the 32 bit version. Planet Coaster is a 64 bit only game so you'd need to have the 64 bit version of Windows 7 (SP 1)/8.1/10 installed.
