Tips for New Players?
Joined a server, got killed in the first minute, and spectated for the rest of the round. Repeat for the rest of the rounds. It was interesting to watch, but not what I bought the game for. Also because I really didn't learn anything from spectating. Any tips for new players that the tutorial doesn't already cover?

If you want actual tips, here's some

As a Guard:
-Traps can give you the upper hand every situation if you set them up properly, but they can also be disabled with [V], so either putting lasers that can't be deactivated before the enemy triggers it is a good way to secure traps.
-You can also watch the traps yourself with the mirror camera, and detonate them with right click. If you get an intruder with a trap that you're watching, they're pretty much dead
-Intruders have a few ways to enter, make sure to know where the most common are, like the roof zipline in Mountainside, or the vents on the staircase in Cliffside
-If you have good aim and reflexes, you can face check every corner and win if you have the correct weapon, Two-handed weapons like the Shotgun and the Manta wobble the least while you're crouch-walking, and the Pistols are pin-point accurate even when spammed if you're moving while prone
-Gun play is almost as important as map knowledge, even if you have the best aim and mastery over weapons, you can't react to someone shooting your head from behind

As an Intruder:
-Make sure to know what and where are the objectives, when you're the only one alive, you can pull off a win without even shooting a Guard
-Scan your spawn area, the Intruder's spawn area has a lot of ways to enter the enemy territory, for example, Cliffside you can either go through the windows to a side path at the edge of the building which leads directly into the Guards spawn
-If you aren't confident about your gun play, try clearing corners with the mirror cam, you can use nades or your guns to clear the enemies out if you spot them with your mirror cam. This is less advisable in Guard side, since if they spot you watching a corner with a gun, they can rush you down before you can take out a gun
-Snipers are deadly, they can kill you even before you spot them, for example, in Oceanside, a sniper can lock down the front and leave guards bleeding if they go through windows, or take a peek outside, but they're also inmobile

As any side:
-Your aiming and reflexes are really, really important, you can 1v5 clutch situations if you know how to use guns properly. Also, take note that two-handed weapons wobble the least whilst crouch-walking, but will wobble a lot if you're moving prone, the exact opposite is true for pistols
-You need space to shoot guns, don't stick too close to the walls because you can run into situations where they can shoot you, but you can't shoot back because you're too close to the walls
-Grenades are rarely used, but they can turn any situation around in an instant. An explosive grenade won't kill, but will knock down anyone close enough to the grenade, allowing you to arrest or kill enemies, CS grenades difficults aiming in a big area, giving you the advantage on duels, smoke grenades are great to block views, this can lock down a hallway that you're keeping an eye on, because people coming off the smoke will have pretty much zero chance to win the duel if you're seeing them, or block off snipers to go through windows without dyind
-Map knowledge is really important, you won't know the map perfectly when you spawn in, hell, I'm discovering new routes on the official maps still, but you will know with time what resources the enemy has, for example, in Oceanside, there's a sniper in the Intruder's side that they can use to lockdown most of the map, but the Guards have a shotgun, mantas, and red sights to help them
-Riot shields are useless when you're solo, if anyone has a riot shield up, you can knock them down while disarmed and arrest them on the spot, and they also have a good chance to leave a part of the body unprotected, even a shoulder peeking can get them killed
-Be vigilant, you can get peeked by anyone from anywhere, so be on the lookout. You can also spot persons through door gaps, and sometimes, body parts will stick out from doors or even walls, and you can shoot them, knock them down while disarmed, and even arrest them if you click fast enough, and this is infuriating for the enemy

There's some other tips, but this list of trivia and tips can put you on top of most of the playerbase, I think I covered most important tips which the tutorial doesn't. But the most important tip is that if you give up now, you won't learn how to play never ever, even if you know all of this tips and trivia, nothing beats actual experience

Watching some higher level players can help, the discord has its own channel for it. I'd reccomend this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQm-eLvyYDI&t=3s as it's more objective focused instead of cliffside matches, which come down to killing the other team more often. There is also a discord for some more advaced tips and strats. It's quite inactive, but reading through it will help with a few smaller tips and ideas, such as putting C4 on a ballon cam then detonating it when you fly close to an enemy, and that the camera is best for detonating C4, as it has no delay when switching. This is the discord for that https://discord.gg/Yg95U3Xu9A Also, learning to rely less on the radial menu and more on hotkeys can really help, as the time it takes to switch items or weapons can be the difference between life and death, and the radial menu just adds more time to that. That and the advice above will really help. Other than that I think it just comes down to experience, like map knowledge, how each weapon handles, and what to do in specific situations that you'll learn from playing. Good luck!
