Can't launch game / Wont complete installing

Wanted to play intruder again and i'm having some issues, wondering if anyone can offer ideas

When trying to launch I get a steam disk write error with the exe being the issue
I've tried;
* Verifying game files
* Uninstalling/reinstalling
* Allowing it in my anti-virus
* Restarting pc
* Cleared download cache

Now the game cant finish downloading after a new install stuck at 1.05gb/1.05gb

Anyone had similar issues?

my steam would do that quite often in the past. the only way i fixed it was just waiting it out. i guess i could send you the .exe for intruder so that you can put it manually in your game files but otherwise you just have to wait it out.

Update: I finally got it to work after a couple days (ik i just made the thread)

Doing all I stated above helps but my method was:
* Uninstall Intruder
* Delete downloads cache (Steam > Settings > Downloads)
* Repair steam downloads folder (Steam > Settings > Downloads > Steam library folders then right click the folder)
* Change download region
* Restart Steam
* Download Intruder

Not sure why this worked for me but it did, hoping it helps people with the same issue.

For me Avast was the problem, it detected the exe as a IDP.GENERIC, and silently moved it into the quarantene folder.
After making it an exclusion it works fine again.

Ngl you helped me so much i literrally tried everything. you will get a big price for that
