[The Almighty Soup Wizard]

I had somewhat good reputation when I started playing, around 5 or so, but I met a group of people who didn't like my name, there were maybe eight of them. I don't know if they were a group beforehand or if they were just a bunch of people who jumped on a bandwagon, but my rep took a nosedive. It's been this way for maybe a bit more than a week and it's only getting worse.
When I try to act normally, you know, complimenting people, saying 'good game', doing generally "good teammate" stuff, my reputation stays about the same, but when I do something "extra" to try to make it go up, there's always more people who find it annoying, and some people just cote me down as soon as I join a game. My reputation fluctuated but it's getting closer to over ten, and it feels like I can't make it go over zero. Is there some behavior I need to show, or some other way to fix it?

Look, I admit I was being stupid, but that's what I mean by being extra, I understand it doesn't work. What I'm saying is that it's one of many methods that didn't work

The system is far from perfect, it luckily it doesn't mean anything either. The only time bad rep is even considered is in conjunction with tons of reports from players.
It sucks to see it go down, but be a nice player and hopefully it'll start to rise.

if you are already in the negative there is no way your going back to positive


simply due to human nature

we are much more willing and prepared to give out negative feedback than go out of our way to give positive feedback.....to a stranger on the internet

and a lot of people will see your negative rep and instantly downvote you.....cause why not? ....because obiviously you must be a troll or a griefer if you got a negative score
