disable ping limit?

a friend of ours wanted to play but he has laughably bad satellite internet and was just getting kicked immediately.
we don't plan on playing competitive really and were wondering if there was a way to disable the auto ping kick?

It should be possible to change the ping limit for custom rooms by adding

{"MatchMode":{"pingLimit": xxx }}

to the tuning field.

good to know there's a ping limiter though so I'll have to dodge this game completely, thanks OP
