Aim Hero

Is Aim Hero sens and FOV 1:1 with CS:GO?
Does anyone know if this game is entirely accurate? I really need to make sure before I start developing muscle memory for the wrong settings. I currently play with a DPI of 800 and In-game sensitivity of 1, I have not modified the FOV in any way so i’m confident i’m playing on whatever the default FOV is for 16:9 @ 2560x1440.

AimHero settings state that the FOV 73.74 is default for Counter Strike. Yet, when in console, on CSGO it seems to say that the default FOV is 90. Sensitivity wise, it let’s me pick 1 but I need to ensure that AimHero’s 1 is equivalent to CSGO’s 1.

Sorry If I seem a bit of newbie about all of this stuff, but I simply want to replicate my CSGO settings into this Trainer, and it seems only logical to ask those who already know information about the topic.

By the way, does anyone know whether or not I should use exclusive fullscreen or windowed full screen? And which would be the best for trying to get the settings as accurately as possible?.

Thanks in Advance.

(If you have any other info on settings that will get the environment as close to CSGO as possible please share it with me)

You were right initially. 73.74 FOV in Aim Hero is the same as 90 (default) FOV in CS:GO. It's a different value because they have different FOV types. Aim Hero uses Vdeg, while CS:GO uses Hdeg 4:3. The reason why CS:GO has a different value is because back in the day, 4:3 aspect ratio was common. Using black bars is basically the same setup as using those old CRT monitors. In both cases, the actual FOV would be 90. If you were to play at 16:9 aspect ratio, the actual horizontal FOV would be 106.26 with 73.74 in vertical degees.

So basically, Aim Hero uses vertical FOV; CS:GO uses horizontal FOV. Just switch back to 73.74, and it should be the same as CS:GO.

In the mean time I'll just stick to practising on CS until I find that this either is or isn't 1:1
