So realistically, if you want to practice for controller aim, you'll just have to do it per game case. Overwatch is pretty good, any 3rd person shooter like Uncharted/Last of Us, battlefield games, and even cod if you like. You got a bit of choices for what you want to play, just stick with one game at a time.
Also, don't worry about nay-sayers. Just use both and just get better in general. Just use either option when you want to. Anybody trying to make you feel bad about using a controller is usually a silver-plat mediocre ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
