Patricians leaving my city because they aren't buying food

I have 7 medium estates and 1 small estate that are maintaining their level because the residents are buying food. Three other estates I have, however, refuse to buy food, despite the constantly stocked markets right next to their house. There's 4 medium estates a short walk from these houses in the same wing of the city. The broken houses have all their needs furnished and do nothing but evolve until the residents get angry enough to leave because they haven't bought any food.

Dp they have access to 3 types of food? if so try settings the market near them to not allow plebs.

Yes, they aren't buying any food.

Try setting up a temple to Bacchus and see if they then get a blessing. What level or city that is is happening on? Also they may come back later so just carry on.

I beat the previous mission. I'm on Londinium now and I have the same thing happening. I currently have 2 patrician houses maintaining medium estate and two patrician houses where the residents keep leaving because they refuse to buy from the constantly stocked market right next to them, They are right next to each other. Should I really have to rely on blessings from Bacchus when my patricians are so re.tarded they refuse to get any food when it is plainly available?

I just played through this again and the patricians do in fact devolve by not getting the food so it seems to be part of the level design. They do eventually come back so I added 3 different temples and before you know it the level was completed.
