PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
im 100% sure that at some point, when all the idiot game ideas are spent, we will have c5, and maybe a sequel to Zeus and Poseidon. Meanwhile, take a look at all the money that's being made by crap games like Fortnite, etc...
Spot on . Caesar needs to make a come back !!
TBH it kinda sucsk a follow up to 3
Pharao 2 can maybe this one: Hard Ancient Life
But there isn't any date when it will be go early or release.
But the game and graphics seems tasty. :D
id get it as long as they don't stronghold 3 it
TAKE MY MONEY!!!! I'd so get the 5th one.
I want you guys to understand a problem these games faced: innovation killed it. The 4th addition lost the charm of the third (3rd is one of the best city building games ever made) and a lot of that is to do with art style combined with technology and design. Roller Coaster Tycoon was also a victim of this transition from mostly 2D to 3D. The 4th, despite being 3D is ridiculously ugly, clunky and cloaustrophobic. The huge map sizes of Caesar 3 couldn't allow for it to be 3D at the time, but easily could now. Caesar 4 ran like hot garbage with constant crashing and glitches.
If someone revived it, they would have to make it run perfectly, have a beautiful soundtrack, great visuals, and improve all aspects of city management. No more taming 100 fires or building collapses in 10 minutes, despite an abundance of service workers present.
They could also make the perfect game, but few people would buy it.
Late to the conversation, but you might try Children of the Nile (available here on Steam). It's created by the same people that did Caesar IV, and personally, I like it better. (have had both games since they were released back in 2005? 06?) Nile has a couple of um..problems...when run on Windows 10, but they can be worked around. Caesar IV was not a favorite of those who were playing the Caesar I, II, and III games..it departed from the former "style of gameplay", so Tilted Mill didn't continue with the series.
Another late comment here. I would be thrilled to hear of a Caesar 3 remake or remaster. Improved performance, graphics, content like maps and new buildings/workers, community-created scenarios. Also fixing one of the biggest issues which was that at a certain point of building the game would stop producing citizens. Basically if your city became too big, all activity would grind to a halt.

Unfortunately the original developer studio is no longer around and now the despicable Activision Blizzard owns the title, and they wouldn't put in a penny towards producing a relatively unknown and niche game like this, unless they knew they could make a franchise out of it and monetize it in some manner that appeals to their ill repute.

Look, you want the improved game or not?

If you want it, you're going to just have to find a way for its Owner to make Money off it, vile and evil as that may be. More importantly, you're going to have to convince the Owner they can make vile and evil Money off it.

Too Holy to dirty your hands this way? Fine, no improved game.
an dream if the 5 happens.
I think that Caesar 4 was one of the last games Sierra bought out (it was the last one that I got anyway), and it came out in Fall of 2006 IIRC which is a long time in the computer gaming world.
I like the game but the maps are TOO SMALL and not enough resources! I'd be happy if they'd fix CivCity Rome to run on Win 10, but I'm not holding my breath. It still works on my Win 7 laptop so I'll play it there. Paradox is making Imperator Rome, but it's Paradox so you'll get half a game and 80 DLC's... :steamsalty:
That will be so good. But the team programmers has been disband since a long time. And City builders are not in our time. Maybe that change in few years.
