Save game isn't valid Error

Hello everyone,

After few problems i manage to get final problem. When i try to load campain a window opens "save game isn't valid" and close the game. Some people solved this by changing their computer language to "English" but i have Win 10 Home single language pack. I cannot change my computers language. Is there any solutions you can advise to me?

I had the same problem with Caesar IV version 1.0 CD version, however this was fixed with a 1.2 patch. go into your C4 folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Caesar 4\C4"
then right click CaesarIV.exe and look at the Properties/Details/File version which should say 1.2.0.0
The steam version is currently 1.2.0.0, language English (United States).

I cant get a brand new downloaded version 1.2.0.0 to open anything to start the game without getting the "Save game isnt valid message"
Can anyone help, before I request my money back.
