Mac client missing textures
On my MacOS Ogre client, the map overlay textures showing the selected unit and the movement radius appear as opaque black. I'm on a 2015 27" retina iMac with a AMD Radeon R9 M395X GPU. I have a friend with a 2014 27" retina iMac with a AMD Radeon R9 M295X GPU that has the same issue. Since I haven't seen any other threads here about this issue, I was wondering if any other Mac users are seeing this problem. My Player.log has several instances of warnings that are similar to the following:

WARNING: Shader Unsupported: 'Shader Forge/Unit_Color_Mask' - Pass 'FORWARD' has no vertex shader
WARNING: Shader Unsupported: 'Shader Forge/Unit_Color_Mask' - Pass 'FORWARD_DELTA' has no vertex shader
WARNING: Shader Unsupported: 'Shader Forge/Unit_Color_Mask' - Pass 'META' has no vertex shader
WARNING: Shader Unsupported: 'Shader Forge/Unit_Color_Mask' - All passes removed

I don't see this on either of my Macs:

2008 iMac - ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256 MB
2012 MBP - Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB

Neither system is a Retina display, either.
I sent a log several weeks ago, but if it got lost somewhere, I'll go ahead and send it again.

GranitePenguin's post got me to try out the game on my 2011 MacBook Air which also has the Intel HD 3000. On that machine, the shader warnings are not in the log file and the game visuals are correct. So I would guess that the issue happens when Unity uses the Metal renderer rather than OpenGL.

I'm seeing similar issued on the 2017 Mac Pro w/ Intel Iris Plus Graphics 650. Also during the Attack Phase the selected target is overlayed with a Large Pink Square.

I just bought the game, and other than that - it look absolutely amazing! Hope you are able to address this on my side.
Can the devs give an estimate when this issue might get fixed?
It's a Unity (the engine we built the game in) limitation, which might be resolved by updating to Unity 2018. This is a bigger task than it sounds however, and may have serious knock-on effects with the rest of the game so we need to be very careful with it.

I unfortunately can't give an estimate on when this will be possible but I will keep you posted with any relevant information towards this.

Apologies I can't be of more help to you at this moment but I will bring this up with the relevant code and design team tomorrow.

That definitely doesn't look right! As mentioned previously, this is a Unity issue which we'll hopefully be able to address soon, but out of interest, does lowering or adjusting the graphics settings help in any way?

Just gave it a shot, and it makes no difference. I went from all settings maxed out to all at minimum, and the issues persisted. :OgreNuke:

2017 MacBook Pro 15", MacOS 10.13, same issue.
Maybe the devs have already tried this, but as an atttempt at a quick fix, could a build be made where you tell Unity to only use the OpenGL renderer rather than the default auto setting? Since it seems to me that the problem only manifests itself on machines where Unity uses the Metal renderer.
