VR setup for Meta Quest 3
Hi everyone,

I recently bought the Meta Quest 3 and this was one of the first games I wanted to get my hands onto, so I just bought it.

I have played other VR games with the Steam VR + Air Link setup, but I cannot make this one work so far.

Would I need to do anything in order for it to work?
Once I launch it from the Steam VR app, screen goes black on the headset but the app loads on the pc normally (I can see it if I take off the glasses).

Please let me know your thoughts.

Steam right click in library
Redout game options
Betas
Enter code "redoutvredition"

This version is from a year or two ago, hope it works for you!

Anyone had any luck getting this working? With the redoutvredition version it crashes to desktop before I can get to the menu with any of the VR modes. I think it doesn't like the touch plus controllers.

Yes! Redout is finally playable again. I'm trying to spread the word, so this is a copy paste of what I posted in a different thread

Look up UEVR by Praydog. It's a VR injector for Unreal Engine 4 and 5 games.

I've tested a few games over the last few days and it's legit. Doesn't always work, but it completely fixed redout for me. Get the UEVR injector and open it, then launch Redout in standard 2D (Do not use the VR launch option), then inject.

Not sure if it will let me post a link, but here's the official spreadsheet for games verified to either work, or not work with the injector.

Hope it works for you too! Have fun

I just tried playing it again in VR, as I haven't played it in months, and using my Q2 with AirLink, and then starting the game in my Steam library with the launch with Oculus VR option, it loads up the game and runs in VR with no issue. I remember that I always had to use AirLink with this game to get it to work in VR.
Normally I use Virtual Desktop with SteamVR for the majority of my games, but this one and Dirt Rally 1 need AirLink, at least for me.

On my Quest3 it works perfectly with the private beta code above and launching it as SteamVR. The only but is that I have to use an Xbox remote, otherwise the controls does not work. No UEVR injection needed.

It's strange that I can't run this game with SteamVR, using the beta code. Game loads but when I click to start a race it crashes. Using Air Link though it works with no problem. Also tried running it through VD with both the Steam and VDXR runtimes, and neither of those solve the crash issue either. So Air Link it is for me, and then I just select the launch with Oculus VR option.
