Direct Input Controllers

You guys should add in the option to use direct input controllers. I don't want to be forced to use a x box controller. I got the Dual Shock 4 windows donggle but it doesn't work apparently because this game only supports x input controllers, which I think sucks. Really enjoying this game but my old logitech controller that has a x-d switch sucks and I want to be able to just use a DS$ controller. Would be great if this could be added, the whole point of playing games on PC is that you can use whatever you want.

DS4 (with DS4Windows)worked for me. After starting the game I had to unplug the controller, then plug it in again, and it is seen and works.

for some strange reason this does not work anymore for me. It worked for some time but Redout will not find the controller anymore

I won't buy the game if I have to use crappy xbox controller. I use X-52 Pro for Radial-G.

what is the different between this and DS4Windows? DS4Windows does not work with Redout, but i does work with alot of other games like FIFA, Inside, Limbo and so on

Edit: Looks like the new patch fixes this issue. I don't even have to pull out the usb cable anymore. I using DS4Windows and it does not work without that. But great update for those who prefer Dualshock controller
