Tested with full-upgraded shps, with Sulha being the fastest one @2:15.568 (Mileage may vary, I'm not a pro by any means)
The track is quite open so go for straight-line speed, there's a few twists so remember to keep an eye on the pitch as the grinding the ground will cost a lot.
With the right angle the first-corner can be taken flat-out even on Sulha, if you miss the barrier, in some cases, pitching-up can get you back on track.
This. I constantly thought the AI had to be cheating when I started. My only advice is learn your ships and learn the tracks. I wasn’t even able to get out of last place in Class I in the beginning, only now I’m managing to win at Class II and overlapping in I.
The game is really hard, the first thing I did to improve was admitting to myself that I sucked and had to practice :p
I've had someone else that struggled with this event before. I can assure you the AI does not cheat - hopefully this helps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RvLlNRwHXE
Sulha is usually the best ship choice for pure, but I got asked to do it in a Buran. Any ship can do this though (Asera probably being the toughest).
