This game crashes way too much.
Has anyone found a work around for them yet?

I have basically no crashes at all. Are you sure it's not related to something else? If you want to, you should consider joining the discord server and see if anyone there can help you. I'm not of much help in that aspect, but perhaps one of the devs or members can help you out.

I have done a validation check and even turned all the graphical settings to off and it still does it.

Running windows 7 pro 64bit, AMD 1100t with 16gb ram and an Radeon HD6970 2gb.

Here is the last crash error:

LowLevelFatalError [File:C:\UnrealEngineSource\Engine\Source\Runtime\RenderCore\Private\RenderingThread.cpp] [Line: 796]

I've only had two crashes in almost a year of playing Redout (on a low-spec PC too), so it's probably an incompatibility issue with your computer rather than the game itself. The devs are usually good about answering inquiries, so give it a couple days and see if they respond.

I second that, I have Redout just for 3 weeks, but it never crashed on me, EVER!

Hi there! Your problem sounds like a common UE4 issue. Can you try running the game in borderless mode and let us know if that helps?
ouch67 Jul 15, 2017 @ 2:17am
Ok, Gave that a try with all the settings set to off and it crashed:

There was relative frequent crashes online back in the days but it's a lot better now. :D

I'd run Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) and then install either the latest version of the Catalyst driver or the Crimson beta.

200+ hours ive had one crash because of a bad host. Sounds like a problem on your end. Verify integrity. Update Windows, Direct X, and GPU drivers. Then make sure you mert min spec.
ouch67 Jul 16, 2017 @ 1:24am
No other game I have has this issue. And other UE4 games like Grip and Killing Floor 2 run fine. This game also didn't used to crash when I first bought it. (before there was DLC available) It's clearly something they have done to the game since then that is causing it to crash.
Wylie28 Jul 16, 2017 @ 4:55am
Then everyone would be having tbe problem. And not every UE4 game uses rhe same features or runs on the same version. Are those games even updated anymore?

Steam has had a lot of problems downloading games lately for me. Have you verified integrity of files? Steam had striaght up not downloaded 5GB of Doom and corrupted files for two other games in the past month.

The 1100t huh? So, a Phenom? Now, I don't really know older AMD stuff so well, but something tells me that might be the problem.
Yiryi-Sa Jul 17, 2017 @ 4:26am
Perhaps the devs can help you run the game in DirectX 9? I'm noticing errors with the handle "D3D11" in their designated string.

Hmm... so I noticed something today. Does anyone else's cockpit glass look like this?

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1079095742

Seems awful dark. I mean there are not any specular highlights on the glass at all. Kinda Looks like a shader isn't working to me.
