REFUNDED: Game too difficult (DO NOT BUY THIS GAME)

The difficulty spike in the middle of class 2 is idiotic and makes the game unplayable for me (I got gold and silver medals on almost every class 1 race). I've turned the difficulty down to rookie but the game is still too frustrating difficult. It's extremely unenjoyable and it has wasted so much of my time.

I've read the forums and many people also report the same experience, and no, I am NOT spending 10 hours to practice driving fictional cars so I can beat this game on the EASIEST difficulty.

I will avoid buying any games from this developer in the future and I will persuade my friends to do the same.

I disagree. Game after 2 hours became normal to me. I use joystick to drive. I stick with one team at the begin, upgrade everything and change the upgrades at wmevery track as necessary

I think you should remember that you can upgrade your ships specifically, as well as your particular upgrades, though the ship based upgrades are more important, as they apply in Pure races.
Try to strafe while turning and learn how to only lightly tap the walls as you turn through some of the sharper turns.
It does have a quite extreme learning difficulty curve, but you can probably manage it if you remember certain things about the game, which they don't do a great job of teaching you.

Exactly; "too difficult" is just a matter of expectations and personal taste. The game has a high skill cap and fills a very particular niche, that's all. For players who are looking for this kind of game, it's squarely in the "challenging but rewarding" category.

I will agree that the difficulty curve of career mode is very uneven, if you're doing the tracks in order, and made me give up more than once. It's super satisfying when you do figure out the tracks and the game mechanics enough to get past those difficulty spikes, though.

Come play chess with me dude I'll crush you with ease. The point is not everything has the same strengths/weaknesses. Games should be fun and enjoyable to everyone, if you like the game hard, you should be able to turn the difficulty all the way up and vice versa.

Difficulty isn't a very good reason to refund. Just played the demo and the controls immediaately make it obvious this gaame takes some learning to become skillful at. If ever there was aa threadthat warranted the reponse 'git gud' it's this one.

Off topic: Does this game really only have 8 tracks? I could only play 1 in the demo but that's what it looks like. That doesn't really seem like much of a game.
