I was looking forward to this game. The £15 price tag really made me nervous though.

And rightly so. It doesn't live up to anything in the description, the challenge I experienced in the first area was not an intuitive and fun one.

The sound design was very poor. The interactivity with the world ranged from very competent (e.g. gun mechanics) to downright awful e.g. things that are ambiguous to interact with, half of the things you'd expect to have sounds not having them and just generally poor design - for example a random crank in a hospital room that moves a radiator... I mean yeh okay that's "hidden" but why?

It's not scary, the sound design shoots it in the foot.

Also, personally I had textures flickering like MAD. Other anomalies like a wall that's black until you look at it, then it's a wall.

This wasn't released as an alpha, they had the cheek to just dump the fact that it is buggy at the bottom of the description. I don't think anyone can in good faith ask for what they've asked for this title.

Buy at a heavy discount (1/3 as much) OR if it gets heavily patched and worked on. Though to be honest you're almost certainly going to find it an unsatisfying time.

Yet another VR horror experience based around a VERY commonly used set of Unity assets. It's more or less fine, and fun, but also buggy as hell. It's not scary or startling because of this, but the aesthetic is more or less correct. Don't pick up the shotgun, because its all buggy and you won't be able to drop it. Also, you won't need it, the enemies will get stuck in a wall should they notice you. I am fairly certain I got this in a bundle, and that would have made the price a few dollars, which is about what you should pay for this. Availability in a bundle oftentimes will negate a bad price for me, but the buggy-ness tarnished that chance. I didn't hate it at all, but for you, $9 is a rip off, and you will not get scurred. This is like part asset flip, part chinese half-effort. Someone could polish this turd into a good experience, but it would take some time.

The game just doesn't work. You get to a part where you have to pick up a shotgun to advance, but you simply can't. If you attempt to pick up the shotgun with any hand, that hand gets stuck on the shotgun but you can never pick it up. If you try to drop the shotgun, the gun kinda...jumps a foot off of the ground and spazzes around, with your hand still stuck to it. You can't even do anything with your now deactivated hand; you can't open a door with it, ect.
When you touch the shotgun it triggers some zombie dude to attack you but you can't kill him to advance because the shotgun stole your hands and it flopping around on the floor...

Terrible interface. I could not ♥♥♥♥ the pistol, even following exactly what the tutorial said. Needless to say, if I cannot fire my weapon, due to this. This game is unplayable to me. Do not recommend.

Bad :
- locomotion : no choice : teleport, but with a mix of free moove when there are ladders
- Light is very buggy !
- Bullet impact look like golden eye 64 XD
- Ugly zombies, in a bad way
- Bad sound design

Good
- Pretty hands
- Good intent

For <$1 I could understand this game existing (still wouldn't recommend it) but while the concept is solid the game itself needs some serious work especially at the asking price, I'd give it a pass if it were an early access title... but its not so I wont.

So here I am in what looks like an insane asylum with 2 weapons one I just can't get to reload and one that's as much use as a crouch button in VR. So I say ♥♥♥♥ it I've been trying to reload the pistol for a good 10 minutes and I'll be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ if I will try any longer.

The teleport movement sucks more than a zombie Nurse who's got a hunger for brains and only can access it through your ears. This would be the worst teleport movement system I have had the misfortune to use, it's just crap.

So I enter the hospital and a zombies eating the floor boards, must have termites or something. Anyway I shoot the shot gun it does ♥♥♥♥ all and Zombies on top of me doing that thing tha zombies do. Giving me red flashes until I'm dead so there is just one thing for me to do. Click steam menu and exit this steaming pile of zombie lower bowel intestines.

God knows how people feel who paid the original price or even the reduced price. I got in a bundle of 10 VR games for $3.40 and this would be worth about 20 cents of that total and I still feel ripped off.

There are much better Zombie games than this, this is the Walking dead if the only character had been Dale and his RV

I've now finished VR Amazing Files: Horro Hospital.

Initially I gave this a negative review where I explained some bugs I had experienced. The developer (as seen on comments) quickly responded and fixed the main issue I had and the game got a lot more enjoyable.

Basically this is your basic escape room type of game with some enemies thrown into the mix and you're just trying to get solve puzzles and move from one are to the next.
I enjoy these types of games and the puzzles here were quite difficult for the first half.
The game is split into 4 scenes, each which you can conviniently replay after finishing it once, and each of them are quite short. I'm certain that I could do a playthrough that lasted 10-20 minutes if I wanted.
However as you can see I did spend quite a few hours with this. Most of that is me being stupid or restarting due to bugs, but the first half of the puzzles were puzzling and kept me guessing what to do. You'll probably get around one or two hours of gameplay time from this, if you're a simple fellow.
How so? Well, I myself felt lost during the two first scenes. I missed some small but obvious hints and took my time figuring them out. The puzzles however get a lot easier and straightforward on scene 3 and 4. They get shorter and much much simpler and I can tell that not a lot of effort was put into the ending.

...It becomes a shooter. You solve a small gear puzzle and get to shoot monsters. I guess it was kinda fun, but it totally ruins the "Forget about killing most zombies" mood. The music was cool though.
After using all the pistol ammo I had some shotgun ammo left and shotguns locked in a cabinet with a puzzle on the ceiling. I could have tried solving the puzzle and killed rest of the enemies, but why would I do that when I simply teleported quickly past them and finished the game?
So it was slightly dissappointing, but we'll see if the devs will do some adjustments.

And indeed there are bugs still left in this game. Some of these were a hinderance that forced me to restart a level and some were quite an annoyance. Do expect game breaking stuff to happen.

Now you've propably realised that I still gave this a recommendation even with all of its flaws? That's because I still enjoyed it. I honestly can write a long list of bugs and negative experiences I had with this, but the game was simple enough that I could enjoy it even with the occasional swearing and I'm glad that I finished it.
One last note is that on my previous halfway finished review I stated that the price is spot on now. The thing is that when the bugs get removed and you can have a solid playthrough, I'm not sure how long of an experience this will be for new players and whether 9€ is okay for them. But I can tell you that it's a lot better than the original 20€.

[EDIT] I guess my 3.2h from last two weeks is pretty close to what it actually took me to finish this.
