Cant get in the lift

I have the bare min for room size recommended but cant seem to get in the lift. I can just about get my head in and reach around for the button. Is there a way to get around this? I want to show it to friends but they will end up walking too close to my walls.

Have you tried adjusting the plank set-up? You can move the start of the plank to be further away from your wall.

The 'plank set up' is indeed the key. We sorta skipped that part and found we were too far from the lift. Take the time to 'set up the plank' where you will be standing and it allows you to be close enough to the lift.
