Is there option to turn off horror/jump scares?

So the game looks super interesting and fun for party and guests (walking on the plank at top of building, flying to buildings to water out fire, be SANTA!!),

However, I really don't want to deal with any real horror/jump-scare scenes like the evil clown and ghosts I saw in the trailers. Is there an in-game option to turn those off? Surely I can't let my GF or random guests play it if I can't turn them off.

The elevator in the game has a bunch of buttons like a phone. You need to dial a specific 3 digit number to get to the scary parts. So there is very little chance anyone will get the scary parts by accident. The developers made it a code as a way to avoid that very thing from happening.

@WastedPotential is right. The Jump scares in Nightmare mode is only accessible by hitting 666 into the number panel. Please don't let children use it.

We know that kids love to fly around so for extra safety, the update coming in about 5 minutes also includes an option to disable it so that it won't work at all. This is done in the VR Settings menu.

Just got the game, wanted to test it, accidentaly pressed the button six, as it did nothing I hit it two more times and got jumped by giant spiders. ♥♥♥♥ this. I bought a plank experiment, not an arachnophobia trigger.

Hi Sham, sounds like you accidentally activated 666 mode. There's a way to disable this entirely in the extra features menu in the VR menu. Sorry for the scare.
