Questions about MWC for Topless (hopefully) Part 2: Electric Boogaloo
1. What sort of technical improvements have you developed for MWC that you think players will notice?

2. MSC has the reputation for not running the greatest at times; is it fair to assume that MWC will run smoother?

3. Will MWC have similar hardware requirements to MSC?

4. Is MWC made to a higher visual quality? (I.e. textures, 3D models, sounds), or is it fairly similar/the same, just expanded features?

5. Between Days, Weeks, Months, Years; which term do you think best describes when you'd like to release MWC? (I think I speak for the community when I say, we'd like it released tomorrow, but would support your decision for next year)

(More personal questions)

Is/was My Summer Car your first game, or did you make other, unreleased personal projects? How did you learn to make games? Do you have any formal education regarding game development, or did you teach yourself?

What drove you to make My Summer Car? Did you think it was a fun concept that no one was doing? Were you surprised by the general success of the game? While still a bit of a niche game, it's been one of the most well known game of its type/style; are you generally happy with the state of MSC or are there things you think you could've done better/more efficient?

1. The car building system
2. Yes
3. Same as MSC
4. No, same graphics as MWC

MSC was not the first game (he said in a livestream). There are other projects that are either long gone or never seen the public eye.

I never learned to make a game, that's why I made MSC and it is what it is :D

But as for actually doing it, if you really truly NEED and WANT to make a game you will learn what is required. But you have to really want it, it is a lot work especially when learning from scratch. I had a background in 2D/3D graphics and sound works, so it helped a lot as I didn't have to figure those out.

You also need to have an idea that you are personally actually interested about. Then figure out the game engine of 2020's that best works for your needs, and start small. First thing I ever did in Unity was a door that could be opened.

But the idea, it is everything. You need to be absolutely passionate about it. Don't even consider making a game without such idea. Unless the game is simple as some Atari 2600 games, that can be seen as prototypes for learning. Then you need to be passionate about the learning itself :)

Chances are, that if you are passionate about the idea and game, other people see that as well. Thats what most likely happened with MSC.

Also remember that ideas cant be protected, but passion cant be copied.

One game was released, but already lost. One game never got released. Together with those there are dozens of prototypes laying around in my hard drives and three released Game Jam games.

So when you started making MSC in unity you basically didn't know anything and as time passes on you slowly learned how everything works in unity and that? I wanna make a game that's inspired by MSC but whole driffent game. If i ever do it.

Will we be able to Drive a Bus in My Winter Car? (based on MB O'405N2 or Lahden Autokori 402?)

Is there any chance we can see it coming or at least in a form of a Easter egg?
