You can find it in "What will the energy drink do?"
When asked about MSC's full release, Toplessgun said that it is very close and the next update coming will probably the final update before it comes out of early access. When asked about what's left to do for the full release of MSC, he said "Not much, there are some updates i want to put in the game, and changes and fixes. And after that I don't really know if there's anything the game would require at that point, but after it comes out of Early Access I can always add patches and fixes if needed."
When asked for a estimate for when MSC might be released, he said he doesn't have an estimate for it, but would like to get it out this fall, or at least this year. He also said that the full release of MSC would definitely happen before the early access release of MWC.
The alternative ending for MSC has not been decided yet, but it was said that if he adds the Sorbett to MSC, it would not be a drivable car but maybe as a prop.
TG said that My Summer Car is inspired by the Finnish TV series "Autovaras".
The game's progress: "I think the game is.. It's difficult to say because I add more features as I go, so the '100 percent level' is always going above. But let's say that I stop now and didn't add any new features and finalized what there is right now, let's say.. 90 percent? It misses some graphical assets and voice lines."
When asked about a release date, Toplessgun said he has no estimate for a release date at this time.
Engine upgrade: "I think I tried [Unity] 5.6 at some point and it broke the whole thing down, so I completely decided to not update the engine."
Toplessgun said Fleetari's new voice lines are not done yet, in fact he hasnt even tried doing them yet.
He said that the hardest feature to implement in MWC was the job you can go to. For MSC, he said it was probably the car (Satsuma).
TG said the energy drink is better than coffee, but it does cost more than coffee (so more than 7mk, assuming coffee price is unchanged from MSC)
TG said "Right now there is a lot more content in MWC than in MSC".
"Gasoline (price) is maximum 8 marks, i believe."
Ice track race: Friday is preserved for pre-practice time and from the practice time the Saturday heats are ordered. There are four qualification heats; Saturday being the busiest day, where there are maybe ten or twelve starts, with Sunday having the semi-finals and the final, which is three starts.
The AI cars at the ice track race are the Beetle (ingame name Buple), the 133 (Fittan), the Escort (Costo), and Skoda (Svoboda?).
The year the game is set in is not decided yet, the only comment TG made about it is that it's set in the late 90s, before Euros came.
The Rivett's stock engine performance is around 98hp. TG said it's pretty perfect for the car's stock performance, and that it was a good idea to change it [from the 71hp 1.6l to the 98hp 2.0l] as it was too sluggish before.
The parts magazine isn't finalized yet, but there will be more parts than in MSC. Unlike MSC, there is no longer a limit to how much of the same part you can order, so you could order 10 front spoilers if you wanted to.
There are 10-12 randomized parts that can come with the Rivett when you buy it. The entire car in total has about 100 parts (stock)
There isn't ability to cut springs yourself but you can buy different length springs to change the ride height of the Rivett.
TG said the Rivett does have different interior colors and maybe materials, depending on the trim level of the car.
The Rivett's trim levels are not based on real Taunus ones because he wants to decide them for himself, apart from the factory colors, which he likes to keep realistic. He said there are many things that can change between the trims, even mechanical things, like gear ratios for the rear differential, whether it has a limited slip differential or not, what kinds of springs and shocks it has, what kind of brakes it has, if it has power assisted brakes or manual brakes, things like that. Also exterior and interior stuff, and different wheels.
Sorbett has a modeled engine bay, but the hood is not openable yet. (The way he said its not openable YET makes me hope he does plan on making the hood openable later!)
One quirk the Sorbett has is that the handbrake only locks one of the rear wheels; it's not intentional, it's a bug and he doesn't know why it does that. Another quirk the car has is a economy gauge, which is an addon not a standard option; he described it as a "poor people's turbo gauge".
Sorbett is in good condition and doesn't have too much rust, being only a ~ 15 year old car at that point, even less.
Fleetari's loaner car is from the 1960s and has a V8 engine. The brand of the car has been used in NASCAR, but the model has not. It was said the car did not appear in Tapporalli. It was described as a big car, being even bigger than the Ferndale and having a worse steering radius. The car is currently red, which may change in the future but TG isn't sure what it should look like yet, but he said the original color of the car was for sure dark green or dark blue, but it has been painted over.
Ruscko's replacement is not decided yet. Toplessgun said that he would like to have a truck with a trailer (either semi truck trailer or logging trailer) of some sort, and until he decides if that will come or not, he will not make any plans with any other cars in the game.
TG said there will probably be more amis cars in MWC than there were in MSC, and the cars will be different too. He said Jani will return, since he is such a essential character. Sadly he said there would probably not be a Ford Sierra in the game since it's too "obvious". The green menace car has been updated, and he doesn't want to remove it because it's a fun thing.
Pena's car is not decided yet, or if he will even have a new car. Polaventris made a joke "Maybe he's driving the Satsuma, haha."
When someone asked "Will there be a Volvo drift machine?" TG responded with "Yes, there will be a Volvo drift machine." I'm assuming that means an AI car of some sort.
"In the end I would like to have the same or more cars as in MSC, that the player can drive in MWC. I haven't decided what cars there will be yet."
When asked for more details on the job, TG said "The job is anything you can imagine what a job can be. It's a job!"
About smoking at the job: "You are only allowed to smoke in the area that is allowed for smoking, and that means you go outside and smoke. The stress is not the reason why you go to smoke, the reason why you go to smoke is so that you can do something else than work."
It was also said the job will have a 1 hour lunch break, but you aren't forced to go to lunch: you can work and clock in more hours instead, and if you have enough hours accumulated you can take Friday off.
"Yes you can sneak out from the workplace during the work time, but keep in mind the boss will monitor the efficiency of the workers, so if you are not there and he sees that you are not there, it will cause problems. The real art of working there is to make it LOOK like you are working there, without doing anything. That's the whole philosophy of the world - how much you can slack off without getting caught."
"It's quite easy to miss work even if you don't want to. If your car doesn't start or Lätanen is in a ditch somewhere, then that's it."
There is no disease or illness in the game, you cannot fall ill and call into the job and get time off because of that, but maybe at some point you might be able to call in and say you weren't able to get to work because your car died and you missed the bus.
You won't have the job from the beginning of the game, if you want to get the job you must apply to it.
The salary from the job and the state benefits are paid to the player's bank account, which is why there is a ATM in the game. The ATM can only be used to withdraw money, not deposit money.
When asked about the amount of jobs in the game, TG said there are 4-5 jobs in the game right now, of which only one is a "official" job (with salary paid to bank). He mentioned the sewage pumping and firewood delivery jobs return, and there may be new jobs added later.
When asked about the bus driver job, he said "I would like to have a bus driver job, I really need to consider adding it, but I don't know how realistic adding that would be."
TG said there will be new teasers at some point, and he thought it was a funny idea to put the teasers on TeleBBS in MSC.
About car insurance: "I haven't decided the insurance things, it's something that I feel was missing from MSC and I would maybe like to add it to MWC, yes. But I haven't decided it yet and how complex system it will become."
Toplessgun said that if he remembers correctly the coldest temperature in the game is the Finnish record of -47.5 C. There will be no warm weather conditions in the game (as in above 0c when stuff starts to melt)
TG said he hasn't decided if Teimo has a car yet, adding "You have to remember the distance from his home to work is quite short, even in winter." but he said he liked the idea of giving Teimo a kicksled.
There will be new alcoholic drinks in the game.
There will be a ice hockey rink at the sports field, but TG did say he is not sure if there will be any players, since it would be more complex to animate than the football kids.
About keyboard driving: "It does work with keyboard too, surprisingly well. But it does really depend on how you have built the car, what the tune is, is it balanced and stuff like that. The driving with keyboard controls is pretty okay, considering the conditions in the game. It's really possible, no issue with it, you just need to be easy with the throttle."
Homes in MWC: "There are a few places in the game where the player can live, it is up to the player. Yes, the parent's house is available again from the start, and the parents are not home because it would be very difficult to put the parents in the house and make interactions with them. It became so difficult I decided the parents are not in the game, they are probably in Spain again."
"I have plans for Pigman but I don't know if I can do it. I would like to have the pigman back just so you have somebody to play Ventti with."
"I would like to have more of the uncle in MWC and maybe have more stuff to do with him, let's see."
The TV system is completely remade, featuring commercials, more stuff to watch, new shows, and even a simulated ice hockey season on the Teletext (so you can follow the ice hockey season on Teletext during your gameplay). He said there will be "paranormal activity" on the television (??) and I might've misunderstood this part but I think he made the Lotto something you can watch live as opposed to only being on Teletext?
There are apparently many plans for the ski hill but he hasn't decided what to do with it yet.
It was said you cannot sleep if the area you are sleeping in is not heated, so trying to sleep in a car thats not running will cause death.
"Yes you can try to survive winter as a hobo, as I want to add the fireplace system where you can heat up near the fire."
The death song and stuff like that is something that will be decided in the later stage of the development.
In response to a suggestion for a taxi driver job: "Taxi service as a driver, it's not out of the question. I have planning that too, it would really fit to the game." Polaventris: "Then you'd have to have the meter, too." TG: "Yes"
The flea market owner is a woman.
Home stereo system is owned from the start of the game, not purchased at the flea market. He rather ominously said "The home stereo system is something that you start with, but there is a risk that you can lose it! You can lose everything in the winter."
