Battery Charger

I connected the battery to the charger and the needle swung to the far right. At first, I assumed this meant it was charged, but then a realization hit me. The numbers on the meter look like they should be measuring voltage, but the charger itself expresses that they are amperage. Which is it? If it’s voltage, then pinged to the right means fully charged. If it’s amperage, pinged to the right means very super dead.

im assuming you are using the original battery in the garage, this is unrelated but since you are new to the game from what ive seen, a tip is the second you start the game toss the battery in the garage on the charger and leave it there until you are ready to use it in the car, as long as you dont leave the car sitting for a ridiculous amount of time or kill it itll work forever pretty much, i always use the original battery even through the full game but a lot of people struggle with it cuz it starts with almost no power and gets killed off quickly then wont hold a charge, only time you should need to buy a new battery is if you just want it to look new

Aye, original battery. I’ve read to toss it on to charge pretty much immediately after starting a new game, which I forgot to until like day number 3. Seeing how some videos, the player doesn’t charge it at all and it still is enough to start the car, I’m probably fine, but I’ll have to wait to see. Also, nice tip about letting it sit for a while. It seems like one of those things that sounds obvious but you don’t think about it until someone tells you or you find out yourself…
