How to get Uncle to spawn?

I'm kinda reaching my patience limit.

Uncle simply doesnt spawn. I've read there are some things you have to do to trigger his spawn countdown, but the sources seem to be contrasting

I'm loving this game but doing anything without a mean of transportation that isn't the bike or the trash-tor (or the boat, for that matter).

Everything is simply too inconvenient without one. No, I will not use the bike to go grocery shopping and limit myself to only one shopping bag (and losing it if, god forbid, I ever fall from the bike). No, I will not use the trash-tor and spend an entire in-game day going to the other side of the map and back for some sausages and a carton of milk. No, I will not use the boat and spend 10 minutes going back and forth from the coast to Teimo's shop carrying only one item at a time.

I just need something to move easier around the map.

is the genius fix "build the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ car" an original thought?

Like, dude. Yeah, I saw the car. Like, it's pretty visible in the game banner on steam, in the main menu, and when you first set step out of your house.

Yes, thank you, I know that there is a car to build in this car-building game.

It's just that I'd like to ALSO experience the life-sim part of the game WHILE building the car.

Especially since building the car needs supplies, both for the car itself and for staying fed and hydrated ecc.


Also yes, the Tractor is THAT bad. I mean, I can definitely see myself using it for some tasks but it's just slow as hell and your house and the city are literally the farthers away they could've been.

Besides like, you saw those parts brudda? I don't know how much hours you got in this game, but with 15hrs playtime, "build the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ car" is easier said than done. You tryna tell me this game is built to be experienced like this? I doubt so

There is a simply clever vehicle one can obtain for early game, I'm guessing it would definitely not fulfill all your needs. Don't get wasped though. As for how to trigger the uncle's countdown and how long does it take, I hate repeating myself (too often). There's another thread on the same topic going on rn, check there. Don't treat uncle's van as a reliable mean of transportation before a certain point in the game, you will only have access to it when uncle's not using it (rarely and at weird hours). Before said certain point in the game.

uncle will show up eventually once some progress is made building the satsuma, i think either the suspension needs to be built or the engine block installed, maybe the driver seat

Either of the 3: Driver's seat, engine block or left trail arm. They have to be installed (not bolted) so the easiest way to trigger uncle's countdown is to put in the driver's seat at the very beginning of the game.
