BeerMP or WreckMP or what?

Hi,
I'm just trying to find some more detailed info about possible MSC co-op mods.
Has anyone tried either BeerMP or WreckMP? What's the difference between the two? Are they worth the hassle? How's the sync? Is the game at least somewhat playable with 2 players? Can progress be saved? What are some things that AREN'T doable in MP?
Also, is MSCO really just a scam?

as far as im aware, WreckMP is just continuation of BeerMP

Beermp got abandoned and they made Wreckmp instead.
Yes Msco is just a scam, just joking. Why would it be a scam? Does it cost money now?
What i remember from msco is that the it didn't work that well

Because it costs more than the actual game and it's not even done yet. You can "pre-order" it. I've also read that the developer just straight up copied code from another abandoned mod and is now selling it as their own work. Some people are calling the mod a scam.
I'm not accusing anyone of anything, I'm just repeating what I've read.

WreckMP is 100% free, you can donate to the dev but only if you want to. It also works completely fine. It also supports MSCLoader

BeerMP was discontinued due to effectively a licensing disagreement, WreckMP is the direct successor to BeerMP.
