Boat started going too slow

When I started the game, the boat was going like normal. Right now, when I choose the 1st gear, the boat is going like snail, even if I start a new save file. Am I doing something wrong?

Yes, and it goes really slowly

Can you make a video of it? The only thing I can think about is that you had a mod that made the boat faster (if there is such a mod available) - otherwise there should not be an issue why the boat is slower now.

Have you used mods in the past that are not present anymore?

Had no modes installed. For whatever reason, after I reseted controls to default it returned to normal.
