Which parts should I upgrade first?

So now with my Satsuma fully working I was wondering what to upgrade first. I heard that radiator or maybe pistons were a good idea but idk.

Radiator, flywheel and carb to aftermatket piece and replace pistons, crankshaft, clutch etc

First of all, I recommend you to upgrade the radiator because it boils water very quickly when going fast with a Satsuma, but it is almost impossible to boil water in a racing radiator.

i would probably agree with the radiator as well. not to mention that you will have to refill it less iirc.

ALWAYS upgrade the radiator first, maybe the hood/grille for better cooling. Racing flywheel is also cool cuz you dont have to bother much with it compared to the carbs. The issue with the exhaust is that some people argue it adds power and others that its not that useful. Also makes you fail emmissions.

exhaust is not bad but if you are cheapo, you should probably stick to mufflerless setup (that is if you dont mind the hearing damage /s)

the next upgrade would be probably the whole exhaust system and the twin carbs (up to you if you want more speed) and get the afr gauge if you don't have it and also the extra gauges could help to see some problems (ex battery is discharging very fast alternator oil pressure dropping head gasket is broken ect)

Sounds good. I already got the AFR and extra gauges, was the first thing i purchased.

Louder = faster. Idk if removing the exhaust head is a good idea tho, since it makes the hoist impossible to use and i heard it may also damage the engine.

race carb is very very very hard to tune though, sadly.

The first thing I get is a Radiator but I may not have the car tuned properly causing it to overheat in my playthroughs.

nah it's the radiators fault if you push it too hard if you drive chill it won't overheat that fast tho
