G29 shifter issue

[Ball of new vegas]

I have an issue with the G29 wheel shifter combo
The game recognises the shifter and i can bind the gears 1,2,3 etc
BUT the game recognises the shifter in the menu but when i try to shift in ANY vehicle meaning van, truck, moped and satsuma it doesnt shift
you can hear this in the video below first i show all pedals and wheel work, then i show the menu recognising the shifter and lastly you can hear me attempt to shift but in the vehicles it just doesnt happen.

So far ive tryed
-Reinstalling the game
-removing all mods
-new controler branch
-dx9 branch
-normal game branch
-new save
-new wheel drivers
-rebind all controls

Hmm... first and foremost, does this issue happen on other games or is just MSC? Second, maybe is something to do with Logitech Hub or whatever it is called

it just happens in MSC and ive tried reinstalling the G hub or whatever its called

Hmmm... it is odd your issue for sure. Have you tried reinstalling/updating drivers for the shifter if there's any?

yup all new logitech drivers

Well... you reinstalled the game so verifing files is kinda pointless... hm, I really don't know how to fix this, sorry partner :(

no worrys im guessing its a bug with the actual game,
what i think is going on is its showing that Hshifter is enabled but it actually isnt but so far ive found nobody who knows how to either edit or tell me how to edit that setting manually by accessing the file itself

Oh have you tried with a different save or maybe deleting you settings file on your save?

yup tried wiping everything, and starting diffrent saves.
maybe if i try someones options file that has H shifter enabled
but so far no saves have it enabled
