Ventti is rigged

I just tried some games Ventti, and after playing some hours i think this game is rigged.

Very often I get 14 or 15 right of the back, just to exceed 21 with the next pull.
If I dont pull, he get past this number easy most of the time.
I also very often pull 22 or more right at the start.
If I get 19 or 20, it feels like he get past it about 50% of time.
in the time I get 1 or 2 times 21, he get maybe 7-10...

Just managed to increase the limit to 1.3K, won about 200mk just because i got lucky with a 1000mk bet... Most of the other time I just bet 50mk to increase and get the car/house later to finish the game. But man, tried 3-4 times before that and lost up to 10k cause I tried to win back the lost money.

Is it rigged? Is there a good strategy when to go high in bets?

I never tried going for big money with PigMan. 50mk or 100mk bets only. In-game, it was about a week and a half before getting to where I could bet the car/house.

In that time, my win percentage was just around 50%. Again, I never went with expectation to win any considerable money, only to advance my limit.

it is rigged. you got a winning straight and he got his winning straight^^

you need to understand, when it`s his and when it`s your time. ..
and after all: when winning more than 5k on an evening, he flips the table and your progress (increasing the max bet) will be gone again^^

Yeah it is rigged to such extent that it is even funny. You got 20 from three cards, then he pulls like 7-8 in total to achieve 21. Three times in a row. So don't take it seriously, grind with small bets and save before final "challenge".

As mentioned I will go easy just to reach the final, and save in between.

But what stays is a bad taste, cause without reloading and hoping for the RNG fall into your favor, its barely possible to get the house and car. After all, this Game is meant to be played with perma death / without reload...

Once you learn when to bet and how to draw cards it's basically free money. Also, these kind if games are always kind of rigged to favor the house, that's how hazard works.

It was very accurate when ventti was implemented at first. Now it just tries to humiliate the player, just as the whole game overall. You know, when you lose five games running, then you might suspect - ok, now it's time to bet higher. So you got 20 in two cards, great. Pigman gets 21 after drawing 5 or 6 cards. So yeah :D

None of the smart approaches work anymore, but maybe it's just me.

Hmm, probably Toplessgun updated again without putting it in the notes. I did not try again, but I will closely observe if I see a pattern. Thx for the infos guys

So I tried again yesterday. Went to the Island and grilled some pike for Granny, saved and went to Pigman. First try he totally blew the game, i did only win one hand, got angry and lost most my money in an effort to get the lost money back :P
So I reloaded and tried again. And man, I had a run of maybe 20 out of 25 games which I won. Finally tried to cheese him, but lost some high bets. But managed to get out with 1.5k plus and the limit up to 3.2k.

So the final conclusion, I guess there is none. It seems to be totally random, but at some points its totally rigged and you see it. E.g. you pull 20 with three cards and he pulls 21 with 6-7 cards....
I will keep saving the game before I go to play with Pigman, cause its just too random and sometimes totally rigged.

Who cares? just reach to the max bet thing and get done with it, lose some, win some, that's ok by me.

Its mostly about the endgame, I don´t want Pigman to take over my house. Money is not an issue. This is my first play through, but my second one I want to make with permadeath and not reloading (only when the physics ♥♥♥♥ with me) So its basically research for my second play through.

I got the house and car now, and from my experience your answere is about right. I tried the suggested methods, but it was total random. To be fair, I managed to get a good run from 1.7k to the limit in just a few ingame hours. But i played it save and made a save ;).

It also does suck when im just lucky and have a winning streak for him to flip the table, and it resets the entire bet..... I can cheat money, i dont want the 20k in earnings, al i wanted was the car and the house.

No, people claim the same thing. An "Anti piracy measure" for cheats that dont exist. When you win too much he will freak out, saving and going back resets the bet to previous savegame bet. In my case, i started from 200, the base, so the bet reset to 200.
