Tried this one already, kind of failed to catch me, although I've not really tried hard to get into it. Might give it another try though.
You buy everything part by part. The engine is fairly detailed and can be tuned.
Plenty amis parts available.
Have fun hitting a street lamp and loose your engine.
The car building is awesome, i found it weird that it took so long time before other games featured this.
One of the guys that made the best patch for the game back in the days has made a similar game now called Car Tune: Project, a cool game with alot potential but compared to Slrr it's a bit to complicated and for some reason the cars doesn't respond on throttle when turning as they should.
But as much as i love Slrr i would never suggest it to someone today. After all it's 17 years old, it's buggy and crash alot even without mods, modding it is a hazzel and the driving is terrible.
I hope one day to see a remake of Slrr.
It was a good concept, build your own car from a junker to streetrace with instead of just get handed a car like in need for speed.
