Grandma not paying for deliveries
Hi,

I ran in this issue constantly, whenever I tried to go for her supply jobs.

I get the stuff (milk / sugar / sausages / pike), bring it to her, put it in the blue box so I couldnt puck it up again and the oinly thing happening is, her rambling on for 20 minutes and afterwards giving me money for my time but not for the delivery.

I've not pissed on her
I've not cursed at her
I've not given her the finger
I've not brought spoiled items

What am I doing wrong? :(

how much does she gives you and how much do you deliver? she pays for the amount you deliver (she also can get you some money off if you have tattoos)

I usually go for higher amounts, 5 to 10 of each she demands and she's usually not paying more then 50, more like 20 or 30

But it doesn't really matter anymore, as I just died once again *sigh*

I doubt that the seatbelt would have made any difference ... I was driving the stolen Ruscko on the dirt track from the T intersection towards Grandma, right rear wheel slided of the track into the ditch, I tried to recover it but due to the poor attributes of the ruscko it just ended with me fully losing control, turning sideways, flipping myself 2 times, killing 3 rally watchers (yes, I drove there on saturday, I know, suicidal) and then crashing into a tree xD

I was so fascinated by what's going down that I failed to press F4 before I hit the tree and died *g*

And yes, I knmow how much she SHOULD pay, that's hhow I noticed that she's not paying me AT ALL ;)

You can use the helmet to protect yourself when driving Ruscko

Oh really? The helmet will prevent death/make you less prone to dying in the Ruscko?

Got to try this, thanks :)

The 'good' thing though ... I'm so proficient in the early game by now, that I can pretty much speed run it by now because of the constant dying on permadeath xD

yea, the helmet should be able to save you in some situations.

The helmet increases the speed at which you die in a crash. Without the helmet you die in a 40km/h collision, with the helmet it should be about 60-70km/h.

Then I should take it with me in the blue van as well as, if it spawns, I usually rip through the dirt trails with 80 to 100 kph, I doubt that the seatbelt alone will save me (although I've NEVER crashed with that thing so far, drives sooo much better then the Ruscko)

Not once so far :D

Aaaand ... after 50 hours of Permadeath, I finally started and drove the Satsuma for the first time now! :D

BUT ... it keeps overheating and I can't find the issue -.-
Coolant is topped of, nothing is leaking, even checked with MSC Editor if everything was fine and yes, everything should be fine.

Only thing I found in several guides, was that it might be a controls issue, where using the keyboard while driving will lead to overheating as you pretty much only can go full throttle, if you press W.

Unfortunately, the game won't take my PS3 controller as input :(

Grandma doesnt pay me either.
The overheating can be lessened with a leaner fuel mixture and holding the clutch in when going on the highway from time to time. Overall i would recommend to get the race radiator asap even with other parts stock. With proper adjustment the racing radiator could prevent overheating even going full throttle with racing carb for quite a while( i know since i go 150-180 on the highway most of the time), after reaching high speeds i'd hold the clutch until temp goes back down to like 90-105 and then hold the gas again till i max out

I'll give it a try, thanks :)
