Exploding sounds in the engine

When I turn on the car, explosions are heard and the engine revs go down until the engine shuts down, now adjust the valves but follow the noises. Help

Make sure, that the camshaft is 100% aligned. Just one tooth can make it do that.
Then adjust the carburetor.

Pull the choke out. Engine's trying to run on a really lean mixture.
As it warms up you can push the choke back in.

what is the choke?

The choke is a small lever below the radio, in the center of the dashboard. Use left mouse while looking at it to pull it out, right mouse to push it in. Keep in mind that the stock radiator can't handle full throttle with the choke all the way out for long, and if you are using a keyboard or otherwise cannot modulate your throttle, push it in once the engine is warm enough to keep A/F ratio rich. The aftermarket radiator that you can buy off of the parts catalog in your garage can pass inspection, so you might as well buy it as soon as possible.
