Flying Finn, First loser, Sliding Swede.

Are these three achievements currently achievable?
If possible, is there a precondition?

For example, you have to delete all modes to achieve it.

I won first place in the junior rally several times, but I'm frustrated that my flying finn achievement has not been achieved.

iirc, those achievements should have "blood" on the achievement logo.

Yeah those achievements are only for permadeath mode.

Permadeath is more fun anyway. Everything you do is suddenly high risk high reward.

You need to graduate to the Amateur league to start earning these achievements. You do this by placing in the top 3 in the Junior league several times. Two 1st place spots should promote you to Amateur.

If you use backup system then it's the same. Although if you forget about it then it can be pain. On the other hand, i doubt that many people are playing without any of that as it would be too risky and stressful.

I never make backups and always play permadeath. That said there have been times when I have to take extended breaks because I just can’t do it again.

Personally, I play permadeath, but with the 'health' mod, such that fewer things can instantly kill you and makes high-speed collisions slightly more forgiving (still died in the Gifu slamming into the bridge, though...) Considering the sheer amount of time this game tends to take, anyone who's managed to 100% it the purist way is on another level.
