Lol who said realism couldn't be fun? Nobody expected this to be a fantasy game, we are just sad that over time much of the freedom we used to have is just not here anymore. It's also quite funny that you are telling the game is about realism but batteries in the new updates die in a week ingame time. You get shocked by answering the phone, the sauna and ELECTRIC stove cause your house to be burned down in a matter of hours. My house hasn't had its fuses blown since forever. My current irl car has been running with the same batteries for over 6 years.
You are confusing artificial difficulty with realism.
and even then as far as i know, batteries werent that strong in 1990s, the fuses in fuse table actually last pretty good while (the only time i had to replace them was when i tried to use the computer and lights of WC and bedroom at same time and when there was thunderstorm), the electric shock though telephone, i often seen people warning about not using landlines so there might be danger to the user irl, about the fire well fire does spread quick but i am not knowful much about fire so.. also the car battery lasts also good while if you look after it.
Pflrsllrr.
I'm using the old one currently. :D
